Digiotouch Releases SPARTA Project Software on GitHub and Zenodo

As part of the ongoing commitment to open-source development and the automotive connectivity industry, Digiotouch has released the SPARTA project’s software codes on both GitHub and Zenodo, offering innovative solutions to simplify vehicle-to-network communications. This move is a significant step towards democratizing access to advanced open APIs that facilitate seamless data exchanges and network switching for connected and autonomous vehicles.

SPARTA’s Vision for Automotive Connectivity

The SPARTA project (Secure Open APIs for Automotive Applications) focuses on developing secure, open APIs to manage the growing complexity of connectivity in modern vehicles. With the increasing integration of 4G, 5G, and edge computing technologies in automotive systems, SPARTA’s APIs aim to simplify the switching between different network types and provide real-time performance insights such as latency, bandwidth, and signal strength.

By publishing its code under the Apache 2.0 open-source license, Digiotouch ensures that developers, researchers, and automotive companies worldwide can leverage SPARTA’s tools for both experimentation and deployment in real-world scenarios.

GitHub Repository: Empowering Developers

Digiotouch has made the SPARTA codebase available on its official GitHub repository. The repository provides access to the source code, allowing developers to implement, modify, and extend the SPARTA APIs to suit their needs.

The code includes essential tools for:

- Network mode switching between 4G and 5G.

- Real-time data acquisition to monitor bandwidth and latency.

- Dashboard integration, enabling real-time visualization of network performance metrics.

Zenodo Repository: Ensuring Data Accessibility

In addition to GitHub, Digiotouch has submitted the SPARTA software to Zenodo, a widely respected open-access repository for scientific data and research outputs. By providing a DOI through Zenodo, Digiotouch ensures that the SPARTA project’s contributions are easily cited and can be included in academic research.

This submission is pending validation from the Target-X community curators, further emphasizing the collaborative and transparent nature of Digiotouch’s approach.
