Lucas Pereira Porto and Nataliia Kinash, from our product team, represented Digiotouch at the Google Cloud Summit 2024 in the Czech Republic. The event brought together tech enthusiasts, developers, and industry leaders to explore the latest advancements in AI, Generative AI, data, security, modern architecture, and sustainability. Attendees participated in hands-on workshops and listened to inspirational speakers discuss the future of Google Cloud and the practical applications of its services.
Nataliia and Lucas participated in the main tracks of the event: Data & AI Cloud, Modern Infrastructure & Developer Cloud, Security & Collaboration Cloud, and Innovation Hive/Startups & Retail/E-Commerce. These tracks offered a clear overview of Google's latest tools, including introducing AI agents that simplify complex tasks by giving each agent specific roles and goals.
A key highlight was the integration of Gemini, Google's new AI-enhanced interaction system, across platforms like Google Cloud and Workplace. Attendees also learned about improvements in Google’s supercomputing architecture and the strong focus on security. Google shared stats on their secure email for business, blocking over 99.9% of spam, phishing attempts, and malware, showing their dedication to security.
The practical sessions, including the Developer's Lab, provided hands-on experience with tools like Google Vids, an AI-powered video creation tool, and AI Meetings and Messaging Add-ons. Lucas and Nataliia were particularly impressed with the potential uses of GenAI, from automating customer service to creating AI-based virtual assistants. The summit highlighted Google’s wide range of AI tools and offered a look into the future of cloud technology, reinforcing Google’s position as a leader in the field.
The event provided deep insights into the capabilities and future direction of Google Cloud services, especially in artificial intelligence. Digiotouch will use these insights and tools to improve its product offerings in a constantly changing tech landscape.
